Our Story
Valley View Ranch is a third-generation, family-owned and operated business. Valley View Ranch was founded in 1977. Our beautiful farm is situated in the fertile Loskop Valley which has one of the biggest irrigation schemes in South Africa. Our farm is a total of 1079.71 hectares.​​

Being a family-owned and family-run farming operation, we strive for consistent commitment to quality and service. The open-door policy, fair-mindedness and great work ethic have culminated in a loyal employee base, many of whom have been with us since we started.

Valley View Ranch strives to improve and grow with the ever-changing challenges of today’s markets and economy by focusing on creating job opportunities, move towards sustainability, using the latest technologies and focusing on quality when it comes to our crop productions. As a family-owned business our values is something we live by!

Valley View Ranch started with tobacco, wheat and maize but was not limited to only these crops. Our first citrus was established in 1996. Today we have 150 hectares of citrus which we export to Europe, the Far East Asia, Russia, Canada, and the Middle East.

Valley view Ranch is fully compliant and bench-marked against global standards. With a strong focus on sustainability, newest technologies, environment, employee health and always improving where possible, we strive to always be the best in the market. Valley View Ranch complies with the following standards: Global GAP and the Sustainability initiative of South Africa (SIZA).

For our environmental sustainability, our cattle and game portion of the farm comprises 1000 hectares and we have impala, kudu, sable and nyala roaming there. Within the game farm, we also have chalets and a stunning penthouse overlooking the valley. If it is a quiet outdoors experience you want, it is also possible to book this accommodation privately.
